ARTICLE 2 – CONSENT

How do we obtain your consent? When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction, verify your card, place an order, arrange a delivery or return a purchase, we assume that you consent to us collecting this information and using it solely for that purpose. If we ask for your personal information for another reason (e.g. marketing), we will ask you directly for your explicit consent, or give you the opportunity to refuse.

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored on Shopify's secure servers, protected by a firewall.

Payment: If you make your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your card information. This data is encrypted in accordance with the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Information relating to the purchase transaction is kept for as long as necessary to complete the order, and then deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which includes among others Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. These requirements ensure the secure handling of card data by our store and its providers.

However, some third parties such as payment gateways have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them carefully to understand how these providers handle your personal data.

Foreign jurisdictions: Some providers may be located or have facilities in another jurisdiction. As a result, if you make a transaction involving their services, your data may be subject to the laws of that country. Example: a transaction processed by a US payment gateway may be subject to the laws of the United States (e.g. the Patriot Act).
